Internship programs (2) |
College students interested in radio careers are given the opportunity to work at the stations to gain on-the-job-training in the area of their degrees while also earning academic credit. In the Summer of 2008, Clear Channel Houston employed a total of nine interns. We hosted two interns from University of Houston in the programming department; three interns from Sam Houston State University, one in the production department, one in the sales department, and one in programming department; one intern from Texas A&M University in the sales department; one intern from Hendrix University in the programming/news department; one intern from Louisiana State University in the sales department; and one intern from Emerson College in the programming department.
